Funso was born in Lagos on 16 June 1968. His Father, the Late Dr . Henry Aderounmu Aremu Doherty, a medical doctor was also born in Lagos, in the year 1900 to “Oga” Josiah Henryson Doherty

I envision a Lagos where life is valued, families are safe and secure, businesses can thrive, and citizens can live fulfilled lives with dignity and respect.
Guiding Principles.
Growing up, truthfulness, equity, fairness and justice were guiding principles. Hard work was expected of you, and you worked hard because you knew you would also play hard at the appropriate time.
